ENTREPRENEURSHIP CRASH COURSE:
FLAT LAB DESIGN 2009
Sometimes the best way to learn a lesson is to make the mistake yourself. However, I would hardly call this one a mistake.
Pop’s ‘Stache is a drink identifier for bottle based gatherings. My newly graduated college friends and I released this product in 2010. It creates the illusion that the wearer is sipping with a jet black moustache, and also distinguishes your drink from your friends’. Pop’s ‘Stache was made in the USA, and sold in a pack of 8 in retail shops and on amazon.
Looking back, Pop's 'Stache wasn't just a product; it was a crash course in entrepreneurship, a baptism by fire in the world of crowdfunding, manufacturing, marketing, and business.
Lesson learned: Take the risk.
